Collection 01: Velha Infância

The idea for Velha Infância came to me while I was looking through my family's old photo albums. I started thinking about how different photography was back then, before cell phones. Photos were taken on film cameras, developed, and kept lovingly in albums. Each one seemed to capture something special, a moment worth holding on to. There weren't hundreds of photos from every single day, like there are now. They were records of lived moments, and I think there's something really beautiful in that.

As I looked at the photos, I started remembering my childhood and the many things that were part of our everyday life: crochet tablecloths, handmade blankets, and my mother, aunt, and grandmothers always sewing or working on some project. I grew up watching all of this at home, and I think that's how, without even realizing it, handwork became a part of me.

These memories ended up inspiring the collection. I wanted to bring into the pieces some of the feeling those photos give me: something familiar, full of affection, with references to the things that were part of my childhood. The prints and details come from the textures of crochet and the colors of old photos, with that air of nostalgia that family albums have.

Velha Infância is a way of reconnecting with these memories and sharing a little of them with other people. It's about family, handmade work, and the beauty of simple everyday moments.

SUSTAINABILITY MISSION

Designed to last

We create our pieces to last, valuing exclusivity and quality while working to reduce our environmental impact and encourage more mindful consumption.

Our pieces are made to be worn, loved, and kept for a long time. We're always here to help with questions, care, or repairs, because we believe good design doesn't end at the purchase: it stays with you and takes on new meaning over time. We want to create clothes you'll always want to wear, year after year.

Materials

We use CAD technology, which lets us create patterns with extreme precision. This makes production more accurate and also helps minimize material waste by making the most of our fabrics.

All fabric scraps are saved for future textile experiments and research, so nothing goes to waste. Our prints are made with digital printing, a method that reduces water waste without compromising color or detail.

We use only organic or recycled cotton and recycled polyamide in our pieces.

Craftsmanship

Growing up surrounded by handwork in everyday life taught me to value handcrafted making. Today, that respect continues through partnerships with local businesses and Brazilian artisans. The pieces we create carry a bit of that story: a celebration of our culture, of care, and of the hands that shape each creation.

Each piece is produced in small quantities, which allows us to avoid overproduction and excess inventory. It's a more mindful way of producing that reduces waste and encourages more sustainable consumption.
